Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 13, 2026  |  Last Updated: April 15, 2026

BankerPipeline ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website at bankerpipeline.com and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you interact with our Service, you may provide us with:

  • Demo Request Information: Name, work email address, bank or institution name, and professional role when you submit a demo request form.
  • CRM Data: Loan pipeline data, deposit account information, customer and contact records, and activity notes that you enter into the BankerPipeline application.
  • Communications: Any information you provide when contacting us for support or inquiries.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information:

  • Page View Analytics: Pages visited, referrer URLs, UTM campaign parameters, and session identifiers.
  • Device Information: Browser user agent string (used for bot filtering only).
  • IP Address: Your IP address is cryptographically hashed with a rotating salt and stored as a one-way hash. We do not store your raw IP address.

1.3 Borrower Information

BankerPipeline includes a borrower portal that allows bankers to request documents and track application progress with their clients. When a borrower accesses the portal, the following may be collected:

  • Contact Information: Name and email address provided by the banker or entered by the borrower during portal access.
  • Documents: Loan-related documents uploaded by the borrower (e.g., financial statements, identification, tax returns) as requested by the banker.
  • Portal Activity: Document submission timestamps and completion status to help bankers track application progress.

Borrower data is entered into the Service by bankers at financial institutions ("Data Controllers"). BankerPipeline processes this data as a service provider/data processor on their behalf. The sponsoring financial institution is responsible for ensuring appropriate disclosures and consent are in place with their borrowers prior to entering their data into BankerPipeline.

Borrowers who have questions about how their data is being used should contact the bank or financial institution that sent them the portal invitation, not BankerPipeline directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To provide, maintain, and improve the BankerPipeline CRM application.
  • Demo Requests: To respond to your demo request and schedule a product walkthrough.
  • Analytics: To understand website traffic, measure conversion rates, and improve the user experience. All analytics are first-party (we do not use Google Analytics or other third-party tracking).
  • Communications: To send you relevant information about the Service, including responses to your inquiries.
  • Security: To detect and prevent bot traffic, abuse, and unauthorized access.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Database: Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure, encrypted cloud infrastructure.
  • Encryption: Sensitive credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • Access Controls: Database access is restricted to authorized application services only. We do not share raw database access with third parties.
  • Data Isolation: CRM data (loans, deposits, customers, contacts) is logically isolated per user account.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate BankerPipeline:

  • Cloud Hosting: Our application is hosted on Render (render.com). Render processes requests and serves the application but does not access or analyze your CRM data.
  • Database Hosting: Our database is hosted on Neon (neon.tech), a serverless PostgreSQL provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Email Notifications: Demo request notifications are sent via Postmark (postmarkapp.com). Only the information you submit in the demo form is shared with Postmark for email delivery.
  • Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may collect standard web request data (IP address) when fonts are loaded. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

  • Session Storage: We use browser sessionStorage to maintain a session identifier for analytics. This identifier is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab.
  • Local Storage: We use browser localStorage to store a visitor identifier for aggregate traffic analysis. This does not contain personal information.
  • No Third-Party Cookies: We do not set any third-party cookies or use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data Retention

  • Demo Requests: Retained for the duration of our business relationship and up to 24 months after your last interaction.
  • CRM Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Analytics Data: Page view records are retained for up to 12 months for trend analysis, then automatically purged.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Data Portability: Request an export of your CRM data in a standard format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Children's Privacy

BankerPipeline is a business-to-business service designed for banking professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
